Alumni Assocation VP Justin Paxton had the opportunity Saturday to assist both rugby teams. Serving as the assistant rugby coach at VCU and alumni mentor, advisor to the Radford Rugby team. Justin had the opportunity to square off with his former coach and friend Mick Turk. Justin played for Radford Rugby from 2004 to 2007. Although Radford came out on top 40 to 31, it was a great opportunity to see the talent on both teams for the fall 2016 season.
